ACDelco has changed it's training philosophy to better meet the needs of our busy customers. Training is now web based for study, preliminary training and testing. Then, a hands on classroom segment is held to tie it together. This way, the tech can learn on his or her schedule. Over the years, Seattle Automotive has always promoted technical training for all our customers. The on going issue has always been getting the guys to the class. Traffic, time constraints, personal conflicts, and busy work schedules have restricted everyone's success. ACDelco Instructor Lead Hands On Courses Schedule

CLASSES WILL BE HELD IN THE ACDelco TRAINING ROOM ON THE DATES AND TIMES LISTED

The ACDelco Training Room is located in the Auto Lab on the First Floor of The 2900 “ANNEX” Building. The 2900 "ANNEX” is located on the Northeast corner of the Shoreline Community College Campus.  Parking permits are required, and are available at no charge in the classroom.  Park car first, then pick up permit.

   ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE FOR ACDelco INSTRUCTOR LEAD HANDS ON SERVICE TRAINING:

Þ    Log on to www.acdelcotechconnect.com

Þ    Click on Training

Þ    You will be directed to the new ACDelco Learning Management System (LMS) web page

Þ    Log in with Password

Þ    Select Enrollment

Þ    Click arrow on “Please Select” drop down box

Þ    Highlight the class in which you want to enroll

Þ    Click “Submit”

Þ    A list of locations where the class you selected is currently scheduled will appear

Þ    A list of locations where the class is currently scheduled will appear

Þ    Select the location nearest you

NOTES ON NEW ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE:

• As of Jan 1, 2006, ACDelco Training Enrollment and Delivery has changed.
• ACDelco now offers a “Blended Training” format offering a blend of Web based and Instructor Lead Training for a particular subject.
• Enrollment for both Web Based and Instructor Lead classes no longer takes place on the old ACDelco Training Delivery System (TDS) web page, or by phone at the old ACDelco Enrollment Center.
• ENROLLMENT FOR BOTH WEB, AND INSTRUCTOR LEAD TRAINING IS DONE ON THE NEW ACDelco Learning Management System (LMS) WEB PAGE.
• A NEW PASSWORD IS REQUIRED FOR THE LMS ENROLLMENT SYSTEM.  Be prepared with your TSS or Key Fleet Account Number, ZIP code, and other information required to create a new profile for your account on the new LMS System.

IMPORTANT:

·          For enrollment purposes, and testing to be assessed and credited to the Individual who is actually taking the course the individual must complete a profile in the LMS System and obtain a user ID/Password.

·          Many Military, Government, Private, Fleet or Shop policies prohibit an employee to enroll him or her self, but instead require a Supervisor, Manager, or Owner to enroll Employees in outside training. 

·          Supervisors may continue to enroll Employees in ACDelco Training, but each employee must have an individual profile/password, which serves in the manner of an individual training account number.  

·          Two or more Employees from the same organization may no longer enroll under same number.
